Summary

This client had an initial design for a plastic cap assembly that needed to be installed on an exercise machine, but needed the model refined to include a snap-fit center piece, a metal ring bolted underneath that will interact with other mechanisms in the exercise machine, and in general to make sure the main part can be injection molded.

Based on these requirements, we modified the existing design to incorporate all of the client’s new expectations without compromising any of the aesthetic features of the original design.
